Carmen is a registered nurse, nurse anesthetist, and a certified Emergency Medical Service Instructor for the State of Georgia. She works with healthcare providers and other professionals seeking training in resuscitation skills. Her role as an emergency medical instructor has taken her to Washington D.C. to work with the Joint Chief's of Staff in the Pentagon and with the Defense Intelligence Agency over a three year time span followed by two years with the U.S. Military on Fort Benning training Rangers for duty in the Middle East. Training the military and healthcare providers to care for casuality victims or those in life-threatening situations has been her career for over twenty years but her passion is to provide information and education to individuals that are seeking a heart healthy lifestyle.
Jeff has been involved with EMS for 25 years as both a Healthcare provider and educator. Jeff is a Nationally Registered Paramedic licensed in Georgia and Alabama. He is also a P.O.S.T. certified Law Enforcement Officer and Instructor, where he serves as a Tactical Medic on the Special Response Team. Jeff is certified as a level 2 EMS instructor in the state of Georgia.
Medical Director, Vincent Nicolais, MD, is from Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Nicolais is Critical Care Director with Columbus Regional Healthcare and is board certified in critical care medicine and internal medicine. Dr. Nicolais functions in an advisory and consultant role as required for advanced life support training
